Applications are invited for the following posts:

Registrar: 1 Post
Qualification:

• Master’s Degree or equivalent with at least 55% marks(or equivalent grade).
• Candidates having M. Phil. or other such degrees will also be required to have atleast 55% marks(or equivalent grade) in M.A/M.Sc/M.Com/M.E/MCA/M.Tech etc.
• Course. Relaxation of 5% in minimum educational qualification prescribed for the posts, will be provided to SC/ST/Physically handicapped candidates.

Pay: Rs.37400-67000 + GP 10000 plus Rs.1000/- p.m. as S.A.

Controller of Examinations: 1 Post
Qualification:

• Master’s Degree or equivalent with at least 55% marks(or equivalent grade).

Qualification:

• Master’s degree in Second Class, provided that the conditions of second class may be relaxed in the case of persons already approved as Lecturers in the Colleges affiliated to this University AND
• At least ten years teaching experience in an affiliated Colleges/teaching departments of a University.

Pay: Rs.37400-67000 + GP 9000

Director Public Relations-cum-Editor P.U. News: 1 Post
Qualification:

• At least second class Master’s Degree with Degree/Diploma in Journalism.
• Flair for writing with good command over English and adequate knowledge of Hindi and Punjabi and experience of 5 years in Publicity and Public Relations work with background of practical journalism/ 5 years’ experience in teaching in Department of Journalism/Mass Communication.

Pay: Rs.15600-39100 + GP 6600

Principal: 4 Posts
Qualification:

• A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks(or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) by a recognized University.
• A Ph.D. Degree in concerned/allied/relevant discipline(s) in the institution concerned with evidence of published work and research guidance.
• Associate Professor/Professor with a total experience of fifteen years of teaching/research/administration in Universities, Colleges and other institutions of higher education.
• A minimum score of 400 points in the Academic performance Indicator(API) based Appraisal System (PBAS), as per proforma attached.

• Balachaur, Distt. Nawanshahr Punjab
• Sikhwala, Distt. Sri Muktsar Sahib, Punjab

Qualification:

• Good academic record as defined by the concerned University with at least 55% marks(50% for SC/ST/Physically & Visually Handicapped) or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed at the Master’s degree level in English from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
• Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test(NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR.
• The candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission(Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D .Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges/Institutions.
• NET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET is not conducted.
